LensCircle Review | Purple And Hazel GEO Lenses On Blue Eyes

LensCircle contact lenses

It has been a hot minute since I talked about circle lenses, so that is what I'm going to do today. I'm here to show you 2 pairs of GEO lenses: a purple one and a hazel colored one, and how they look on blue eyes. Let's see!

LensCircle package content: user guide and free lens case

Before we start:
Please always visit an optometrist before purchasing your first pair of circle lenses. They will tell you if your eyes are suitable for lenses or not; if the curve of your eyes is different from the average (mine are!) and which types of lenses are suitable for it. The eyesight is incredibly important and not worth risking it.

Disclaimer:

For today's review, I am happy to tell you that for the first time in 8 years of blogging, I am partnering up with a company: LensCircle. They gave me all the freedom I could ask for, all opinions are based on my own experience with lenses. It's a legal distributor of GEO lenses which is a brand I've only had positive experiences with in the past, hence why I chose to accept it. A lot of work and time went into it, so please enjoy.

As you can see, I am a fan of coloured contact lenses. I like how they enlarge and change the colour of the eyes in an instant. If you've been reading the blog for a long time, you know that I used to cosplay, so coloured lenses played a big part in that. I've always wanted to try a purple one because I thought it would look cool on blue eyes, and I also could pair it with green make-up looks. The hazel lenses were chosen simply because they reminded me of my beloved neon yellow GEO lenses, and more like a daytime "diet" version of them.

I bought my previous circle lenses at a different webshop, so this is my first experience with LensCircle. It is a Canadian webshop that is a legal distributor of GEO lenses. They have a great selection of circle lens designs and colours, and they also sell prescription coloured lenses.

My package arrived within a week, which is awesome. The lenses were safely packaged, using plenty of bubble wrap and separate pouches for each pair of the lenses. Each lens pair comes with a free lens case, and you also get a user guide.

As I mentioned above, I decided to try the World Series Brown lenses because they reminded me of a daytime version of my GEO yellow cosplay lenses. I am strangely in love with yellowish hazel lenses and these guys fit the bill perfectly.

The diameter is on the smaller side of the spectrum, so it is easier to put them in but they still have a slight enlarging effect. As you can see, they show up beautifully on my light eyes, and would pop even more on dark eyes. I love lighter lenses on darker eyes. Light eyes tend to peek through any lens in the middle, near the pupils.

I have never had bad experience with GEO lenses, and these ones are no exception either. They wore nicely and were comfortable throughout the day without sliding around. Please note that due to the irregular curve of my eyeballs, I usually don't wear my lenses for longer than 5-7 hours unless I'm at an event or convention.

The big daddy of today's bunch is definitely the Super Nudy Purple pair, as it is more loud both in colour and diameter.

The enlarging effect is rather visible and doll-like, being a great pair for both cosplays and special occasion wear. If you're not sheepish, you can totally wear them on casual days too. I know I went to Tesco for Christmas shopping wearing these, and people looked at me like I had 3 heads. It's not really surprising though; it's a small town, so people will stare for anything.

Kinda like a creepy doll, huh?

Circle lenses with a big diameter are usually more difficult for me to put in because I blink like crazy and they usually just fly out of my eyeball when putting them in. Again, I can't rely on suction because the curve of my eye is irregular, so I have to "swipe" them on while gently pinching them in the middle with my fingertips. That trick worked with this pair like a charm, so I faced no problem while putting them in.

The comfort-level was nice, I did not need eyedrops up until the 6th hour mark, which tends to be the same with all of my bigger lenses.

How do you like them? Were my photos helpful to you?
I find that lens reviews with light eyes are not as common as dark eyes, so I hope I was helpful in some ways.

Have you ever tried circle lenses? If yes, which ones? If not, would you like to?
